О закупке F-35:
Господа, вспоминая Ф-17 Кобра я не хотел бы ставить крест на Ф-32, не исключено что боинг что то надумает на счет этого самолета. Хотя есть пример и Ф-23 но по моему Ф-32 достиг более высокой фазы готовности чем склепаный на скорую руку демонстратор Ф-23.

Я же знаю наоборт, авионика самолета в основном предназначеня для совместной работы с такими системами как Джейстарс и АВАКС что естетсвенно снижает требования к "мощностям" бортовых систем. в частности к системам поиска, обработки информации и целеуказания.

Времена уже не те. В 70-80гг тактическая авиация США получила 7 новых самолёта (А-10, F-14/15/16/18/117, AV-8B), сейчас - только 2 (F-22 и F-35, пускай и в разных моделях).
Наверное все так и есть, на экспорт тоже не пошлешь так как все потенциальные заказчики уже сидят в программе Ф-35, если Боинг все еще хочет получить выгоду то имеет смысл целиком продать наработки третьей стране хочущей иметь свои собственый самолет и при этом получить гаррантти что тот не пойдет на экспорт. Например так поделили рынок США и Великобритания, между ракетами Бримстоун и Хеллфайер 2.
Доработка Ф-32 и его выпуск собствеными силами дешевле покупки Ф-35. Хотя вряд ли кто сможет себе сейчас это позволить...

По сообщению сегодняшнего Маарива Израиль отстранена (на время? suspended?) от программы JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) из-за продажи Китаю БПЛА. Среди других санкций называются ограничение поставок в Израиль высокотехнологичных продуктов и не включение в список стран, бизнесмены которых могут получить визу E2.

U.S. Suspends Israel from Warplane Project

TEL AVIV (Reuters) - The United States has suspended Israel from joint efforts to produce a new warplane, in protest at the Jewish state's defense dealings with China, an Israeli newspaper said on Thursday citing U.S. sources.
The Pentagon included Israel among foreign partners in developing the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) in 2003. Under the deal, Israel was promised first purchase of the advanced warplanes due out next decade, ahead of non-partner nations.
But Maariv daily said Washington suspended Israel from the JSF project after alleging it had violated a U.S. export ban by upgrading China's fleet of Israeli-supplied Harpy attack drones.
The United States, which gives Israel some $2.9 billion in aid annually, has opposed past Israeli arms sales to Beijing, citing concern that the technology could be used against its ally Taiwan in any conflict. Officials at the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv were not immediately available for comment on the Maariv report.
Israel had denied wrongdoing in the Harpy deal, calling it routine repairs. The Israeli Defense Ministry declined comment on the Maariv report, saying only that U.S. ties were good.
"Our relations with the United States are solid and we are holding talks to solve misunderstandings that arose as a result of the Harpy deal," an ministry spokeswoman.
Industry newspaper Defense News has said the JSF jets, expected to cost at least $100 million each, would have fighter, bomber and surveillance capabilities.

The US has sidelined Israel from participating in developing the Joint Strike Fighter because of violations of agreements about arms sales to China, says a senior defence official.
The official said the US was still committed to selling the JSF to Israel. But he said Israel would be excluded from discussions about developing the next-generation fighter until China concerns had been resolved.
"There are some technologies and information that we are not comfortable sharing with Israel until we resolve technology and security issues," said the official.
The official said the US was concerned about "numerous violations" of agreements not to sell certain technologies to China in addition to Israeli sales of certain technologies to China.
"We are in the study phase regarding the Israeli configuration of the JSF," said an Israeli diplomat. "These studies continue as planned. We have an ongoing discussion with the Pentagon on issues of tech transfer and hope to resolve them very soon."
As a so-called "security co-operative partner" in the JSF programme, Israel has been negotiating what kind of JSF - three variants of a next-generation fighter jet being developed by the US and several allies - it would buy.
The talks have also looked at which Israeli technologies could be included in their aircraft, which has required the sharing of sensitive information.
"We continue to raise concerns with Israel about their sale and transfer of technology to China," said Bryan Whitman, deputy Pentagon spokesman. "But ...the US commitment to sell JSF to Israel remains unchanged."
According to a former senior official, the Bush administration has in recent months ratcheted up pressure on Israel to curb arms sales to China. The renewed pressure is also partly aimed at gaining leverage with the European Union, which, until recently, was poised to lift its embargo on arms sales to China.
The official said Ariel Sharon, the Israeli prime minister, was expecting a statement of support from President George W. Bush for Israel's involvement in the JSF programme when he visited the US this week. But US officials told the Israelis Mr Bush would not make the statement because of the China arms issue.
