Немецкие корабли для Израиля - корветы "Саар-6"

Господа мореманы, разрешите спор. В недавней истории про английский эсминец была предупредительная стрельба длинной очередью из ак 630 в воздух примерно в сторону цели вдогон (день, солнце). Сопровождаемый на расстоянии 5-8км.

Мне в одной теме господа хором доказывают, что современный британский эсминец не способен увидеть этот залп. В моем представлении, современные оптические и радарные системы обязаны факт такой стрельбы обнаружить (очередь длиннющая, градусов под 45 к цели). Неужели артрадаров на корабле такого класса нет или они не способны распознать сам факт стрельбы?

Извиняюсь за оффтоп.

Не говоря уж о локации (она еще в стрельбовые системы входит).

Видимо на втором, "Оз", если свежее фото, на "Маген" уже в конце апреля были эти защитные радиопрзрачные колпаки. Внутри, работы интеграция и испытания, наверняка идут.

04.06.21 сайт компании «Израильская Авиационная Промышленность» (IAI) сообщил, что начат монтаж боевых систем на корвете «Маген» класса «Саар-6» и опубликовал соответствующее видео (см. ниже). Работы проходят в тесном сотрудничестве с Управлением НИОКР в МО Израиле (МАФАТ) и ВМС АОИ.

Пока завершён первый этап монтажа РЛС ELM-2248 MF-STAR (Multi-Function Digital AESA Radar), именуемый в ВМС «Маген Адир». Далее будет продолжена интеграция ЗРК BARAK MX («Раам Адир»). MF-STAR служит для обнаружения и классификации воздушных и морских угроз, позволяет создать детальную картину морской ситуации, является центральным компонентом ЗРК BARAK MX.

Боаз Леви, президент и гендиректор (CEO) IAI сказал: «Боевые системы и системы ПВО, установленные на корветах Саар, представляют собой значительный уровень, который в настоящее время интегрируется в остальную часть системы ПВО Израиля. Эти системы являются и неотъемлемым аспектом общих решений IAI в морской сфере. Компания IAI, основной создатель систем ВМС Израиля, с гордостью приступила к интеграции этих систем на ракетные корветы в тесном сотрудничестве с МО и ВМС Израиля. Замечу, что фото «Маген» с установленными антеннами РЛС ELM-2248 MF-STAR демонстрировались и ранее: в апреле при смене командира корвета и в начале июня во время церемонии по прибытию «Оз» в Хайфу.

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) is integrating offensive and defensive systems, to enhance the ‘Sa’ar 6’ corvette’s capabilities and usher the Israeli Navy into a new technological era, under the guidance of Israel’s Ministry of Defense (IMoD) and the IDF.
IAI, together with the Administration for the Development of Weapons and Technological Infrastructure (part of IMoD) and the Israeli Navy, completed the first phase of installing the MF-STAR (Magen Adir) radars on the Israeli Navy’s ‘Sa’ar 6’ corvettes and will continue to integrate the BARAK MX Air Defense System (Ra’am Adir) on the vessels. The radars will serve to locate and classify air and surface targets and help to build an advanced and detailed maritime picture of the surveillance area. The MF-STAR radar system, one of the world’s most advanced radar systems, will serve as the “brain,” integrated with all surveillance sensors on every one of the Israeli Navy’s new warships. The radar system is also an important component of the BARAK MX Air Defense System (Ra’am Adir), and provides a layer of defense against advanced aerial and naval threats.

The MF-STAR radar systems are based on advanced technology including active electronic scanning array (AESA) developed by IAI’s ELTA Systems Ltd. These systems reduce the target acquisition response-time, and provide advanced ability to accurately and simultaneously track a wide range of targets. The radar provides an optimal picture of maritime situation awareness and hemispheric protection to all accompanying forces. The radars are an integral component of defending air, space and territorial waters, including Israel’s strategic assets: the natural gas rigs, defending against rockets, enemy aircraft and more. Upon identifying a threat, the radar supplies all required data immediately to each control, defense and support systems on deck (e.g., firing of anti-aircraft missiles), enabling key decision-makers to respond to the threat in real-time. The MF-STAR radar includes four staring radar panels that provide 360-degree hemispherical coverage around the vessel.

The BARAK MX Air Defense System developed by IAI’s Systems, Missiles and Space Division is one of the world’s advanced operational defense systems, used by IDF land and naval forces and the Indian Navy and Air Force. The BARAK MX Air Defense System provides both wide-area and targeted defense capabilities to an array of threats, including: land, air and sea. The system aggregates several key cutting-edge systems: a digital radar, weapon control system, launchers, a range of interceptors for different ranges with advanced homing devices, data-link communication and system wide connectivity.

Due to the pandemic, today’s ceremony took place on a small scale. In his speech to the guests at the ceremony and to the crews of the new ships, Managing Director Dr Alexander Orellano emphasised the good professional und personal relationship with the Israel Navy.

“In the six years from the signing of the contract until today, we have developed a superior ship together. We have discussed a lot with each other, sometimes even argued. In the end, we, client and contractor, together built a better ship than originally planned.”

The SA’AR 6-class ships will form the backbone of the Israeli Navy for the next 30 years. Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems is building the ships in a joint venture with German Naval Yards Kiel. Vice Admiral Eliyahu Sharvit arrived from Israel for the naming and handover ceremony. The Israeli navy commander-in-chief is pleased with his new ships, as he expressed in his speech: “I thank you for your tremendous effort invested in this combined project to ensure its extraordinary success.”
The contract for the delivery of four SA’AR 6 corvettes was signed in May 2015. After the design phase, the construction phase began with the ship’s steel cuting ceremony in February 2018. Just 15 months after the first steel was cut, the ship undocked. In May 2019, the “INS Magen” as first of class received her name in Kiel and was handed over in November 2020. The second ship, “INS Oz” followed in May 2021. Today, with “INS Atzmaut” and “INS Nitzachon” the order was completed.
The ships will be equipped with radar and weapon systems by the Israeli Navy after their arrival in their homeport.

About the Sa’ar 6-class

The 1,900 tons, 90 meters-long ships have the stealthy design of a low-signature missile corvette with tailor-made solutions and numerous new technologies on board. The contract for the delivery of four Sa’ar 6 corvettes was signed in May 2015. After the design phase, the construction phase started with the steel cutting ceremony of the first-of-class in February 2018. Only 15 months after the first steel cut, the ship was undocked, fulfilling its very ambitious schedule. The other three ships will follow subsequently in intervals of a few months.

In terms of weapon systems, the Sa’ar 6 will be heavily armed given their small size and displacement:

• an Oto Melara 76 mm main gun,
• two Typhoon 25mm Weapon Stations,
• 32 vertical launch cells for Barak-8 surface-to-air missiles,
• two C-Dome point defense systems (with 20 Tamir missiles each),
• 16 anti-ship missiles (likely Gabriel V)
• two 324 mm torpedo launchers .

Each ship will also be outfitted with cyber and electronic warfare systems. The sensor suite includes the EL/M-2248 MF-STAR AESA radar. Magen-class corvettes have hangar space and a platform able to accommodate a medium class SH-60-type helicopter.
